The main reason SoR is ahead of Blackgate is because SoR is now home to many SEA and other time zone guilds from Stormbluff Isle.  Although Blackgate massively outnumbers SoR in Oceanic and SEA timezones - these guilds from SBI get more ppt than BG.

It is the purification of will and courage that they went through on SBI - That is what makes SoR beat Blackgate. Unlike most of Blackgate, these ex-SBI guilds dont run to PvE after one wipe. They stay and grind it out like true warriors.

The best thing that ever happened to SoR was getting guilds from SBI.

Blackgate has MASSIVE coverage advantage plus number advantage over both Sanctum of Rall and Jade Quarry. Yet BG leadership is already talking about playing for 3rd and life in Tier 2.

If you are a competitive WvWvW guild still playing on Blackgate then start looking for a server that has the fire and the desire to be #1 - Unless you are having fun on Blackgate, in that case you don't need to move.

Sactum of Rall and Jade Quarry both need guilds in EU and Oceanic time zone.

Kaineng may also need some more transfers if it is to break into Tier 1 any time soon. Same can be said about Fort Aspenwood and Tarnished Coast.

If you want to make an alliance and make a server rise from Tier 8 to Tier 2 and above then you can go to Sorrow's Furnace, Eredon Terrace or Ferguson's Crossing.

Also if playing on EU servers is lag free for you then that opens a whole new world of possibilities for you.

Just be sure to have you share same vision of WvWvW with the people you undertake this new journey with. This is just a game, and you and your buddies having fun is most important. At the end of the day, seeing your server came first on Friday will not mean much if you are not having fun. WvWvW will be on 365 days a year (366 in leap year). If you are going for #1 for 365 days a year then it will become more of a chore for you.

Fifty years from now, Guild Wars 2 won't be around. Your legacy of winning will just be a tale for old farts. Some of us will be playing other games if we still have our eyesight. Some of us will be having more fun being with our grandchildren. And some of us will be dead.
