It's back!

You might remember this thread from GW1 Guru forums. This is the thread for the nastiest drops you've gotten.

So today I got 2 rares in Orr. I decided to buy 2 more and try my luck on Mystic lottery. I didn't get a precursor but instead I got this:

Is full exotic worth it?

I'm planning to make a cleric armor (warrior, 400 armorsmith). I have 20 ectos and enough orichalcum and gossamer, but Im out of elaborate totems. And cash.

My guildie said that I should just make an exotic chestplate, the rest of the gear doesn't have much of a difference with rares (inticrate) pieces. Should I go for full exotic or just make the exotic plate and inticrate rare boots, pants, gloves and helm? I'm transmuting them so it's not an aesthetic question.
