Did stats like Cleric's or Berserker's already have a chance to salvage their insignia, or are it just these now?

To my knowledge, the other ones were not obtainable by salvaging. The reason why those ones are is because you cannot craft exotic dire, soldier's, or etc. You need those insignias to craft the ascended armor of that type.

This. My preference is this build. Great party-wide fury and near perma vigor with steal. Lead attacks lets you pump out some serious dmg as well.

Anet can't give karma, wvw exp or anything else from theses node.

Exactly this. Especially on reset nights where karma train are running around. Would be so easy to farm points.

My opinion of the change is that I like the concept however the buff I think is over the top (the stats, not the extra stomp points). I feel like it just gives bigger servers more power.

I agree with DarkHorseKnight. I have about 50% mf atm and it's taking incraeasingly more essences for each level. I imagine after 100% mf that it will require A LOT of essences to make a difference. Not that I am complaining. It makes sense to increase the required essences to level up after each level gained.
