For some reason everytime I open this forums, there's about 90% whine and moan and doom threads. I'm gonna be the ugly ducking here.
Don't care what enyone else things. Fractals is imo the best dungeon experience I've had ever - also one of my best gaming experiences. Maybe I'm just not into the loot or something, the dungeon design and the mood it created was awesome!
This is just an appreciation thread. Feel free to post what you feel about the fractals dungeons.
Thanks Anet. Take my money!

Hi all
Guild Wars is a very special game to me cos it inspired me to pick up my pencil and draw back in 2005-2006. I was terrible back then but with lots of encouragement and suggestions especially from Nolani Academy and at gwguru and deviantart, I've improved ever so slightly
These are a couple of mesmer based drawings I did now that GW2 is out

Send me a PM if you'd like a commission or something, I'd try and do something when I'm free. My DA page is here: http://powercozmic.deviantart.com/

Mesmer clones stay after shatter & after dead target.

I didn't notice this bug in the previous stress tests and betas but noticed it in yesterday's stress test.
Mesmer clones stay after shattering and after target's death. They just stay there for sometime like statues and then suddenly disappear without any animation. This seems to be a random effect though - doesn't happen all the time but quite frequently. Here's a few screenshots:

Maybe they're working on something here ? Maybe its a bug/side effect of other changes ?

Lore Friendly ?!

This is trivial and I'm probably in the minority but this is my pet peeve about the game:
AVIATOR SUNGLASSES!
wtf?!
Ok, GW1 had tinted glasses but atleast they were called "tinted glasses" which is something you can digest. Ok, if you're hell-bent on keeping the looks, atleast rename it to something a bit more lore-friendly. This is not a land of helicopters and Mcdonalds and Michael Bay, this is the land of yaks and ale and "moot" - so where the hell did the aviator sunglasses come from ?.... This is just wrong.
There is a reason why skyrim's "lore-friendly" armor mods are so good. There's a reason why the entirety of the Witcher series is so unique. It's because they keep it LORE-FRIENDLY.
Anet, you've spent so many years creating a wonderful fantasy world with amazing lore, why tarnish it by introducing ridiculous stuff like this. We know you have to cater to the "hip" crowd as well but it could be done a bit more elegantly.
If Aviator sunglasses are the in thing, why does Kormir still wear that stupid bandana over her eyes then ? Wanna know why ? because it's LORE-FRIENDLY. SHE knows it and so should you!
Thanks for the otherwise amazing game btw.
