Does rune of the ranger work now?

I'm under the understanding that the 7% bonus with an active companion didn't work anymore for phantasms.

What do you estimate the damage difference between sinister and rabid armor to be?

Also would gives weapons be useful?

Something like givers weapons, rabid armor, sinister ascended trinkets.

for the first traits, i'd say get speedy kits in tools, and then drop 10 into firearms. flamethrower isn't the best build, but i agree it is fun.

flamethrower and elixir gun work well together, bomb does make a good CC move. and you'll need to build some vit/tough since FT is a close range weapon, but if you take kit refinement and elixir gun, you can double up on super elixir for healing.

i like 0/30/0/20/20 for a point spread. that is personal preference. on engi, i like 0/0/0/20/20 and then flavor for what i'm using for damage.

the bonus should all add up like you've stated already, and the math looks right.

the thing to remember though, is that you should never rely on the tooltips being correct for this. you'd be best served to try it on dummies so you have a controlled environment to count the bleed ticks.
