- KOTOR 1 & II are good games, 1 is a finished product while 2 was forceably rushed by the publisher. There is a huge restoration mod for KOTOR 2 (and smaller one for KOTOR 1) that is an absolute must IMO, as it restores a lot of missing content to the game. (biggest gripe I have regarding this series... is to find out what happened, you have to play SW:TOR (specifically Jedi Knight), although with it being F2P now that's not so bad... and that they really, really butchered the way it panned out).

No you don't, just read the Revan novel or if you're lazy there's an audiobook version of it. Plus everything that happens in SW:ToR is just depends on the side you're playing on, so it's not really canon.

Don't really wanna do a BI derail, but which parts do you mean? Cause i know there some unanswered things, but most of them can be left alone with the "it's just fictiion, you don't need an explanation for that" stamp.

All the criticism against the game is true, but when seen as a plain FPS game with the air line thingy it's actually kind of cool.
Funny, all the criticism it got, was because of the below average shooter mechanics, and just overall boring gameplay. It's the story and atmosphere where that game shines.

To OP, i just recently replayed Tomb Raider, it's so far my favourite game of this year, this was my 3rd playthrough which is pretty rare for just one game in a year, so if you haven't played it yet, give it a try. Also Path of Exile is gonna reach 1.0 soon, so if you like classic arpg's, check it out, it's a f2p game.

First off a nice idea, but never gonna happen, because your totally forgat about one thing. Even in MMO's, there are a LOT of people who's gonna play solo, and never ever take part in group activities, and if you want to force them into this situation they just gonna leave. So from a company/game dev point, that is just bad.
And second, the leveling system is basically a psychological reward system, it works as a hook, you do something and get rewarded for it, and here, we get rewards for nearly everything, even if it's just numbers on your screen you, or at least some people gonna feel better becaue of it and wants more. i mean in WoW i always hated gahering because you were basically grinding for mats, but here you get xp for it while lvling, so of course i'm gonna chop that wood. And here we only get xp for it, in Tera you even get buffs from gathering, that gives you health regen, mana regen, faster gathering etc. So yeah, it takes a lot and a really really good idea to change this system.
But with that said, i would be totally okay with a lvl 30 cap, cuz yeah above that we really are just grinding for those trait unlocks.

Better in the long run is those two guys destroying everything. So keep them healed up.
Yepp, and take away their endurance bar, and selfheal, cuz from now on, every person who gears into berserker deserves a dedicated team of healers.
I came here because i liked the idea of not having roles.. if i want to be a healer, i would just go back to WoW, I don't care if a fight takes longer cuz ppl use gear with some survival stats, and if they want to go glasscannon, okay but don't make the game harder for me in the process.
