Oh, how surprising.
One of those "epix pro-gamers" complain about stuff being too easy.
The game is for everyone not just the "best".
Everyone should have chance to finish it. They did not at the Tower.

You are running from one DE to the next as fast as you can, and apparently you are not having fun with that - because you're here complaining about how DR is negatively affecting you.
I go out into the world, explore, follow NPC's and storylines, kill stuff, do DE's as I encounter them, gather, craft etc etc. I'm in no hurry, I feel no need to chase carrots on sticks. I don't notice any DR effects, I'm enjoying myself, and I anticipate this type of gameplay being enjoyable and sustainable for several years. By the time I've finished coasting through the game there will likely be an expansion to keep me playing.
Apparently I'm "doing it wrong", but who is having more fun?

Shelved the game for a bit until this issue gets sorted out. Not angry or anything, just wanna come back when there's a bit more stability. The beauty of the game being F2P

The 'Run As Admin' only got me an hour and a half. I'm beginning to think at this point it's not something we can fix. It's up to ANet and/or nVidia to address.

Effective gold sink is effective. I'll take my travel costs in exchange for a stable economy. Scarcity of gold is a good thing overall. If there's too much of it in the system you get lots of inflation, which makes it very expensive to buy the stuff that matters.

I actually agree on the costs being too high so I just end up running from point to point and learning the shortcuts. While being mad about it I realized that hey, this actually kind of keeps the world alive, people running on the roads in all the zones instead of just blinking from one spot to the next so while I'm not happy about it, it's actually a good thing.

Report the bug, don't report the players. If it's broken, let them fix it. Most people don't deserve a ban, because they honestly just think its an honest xp farm.

Typical nosy person who can't mind his own business. These people are not in any way bothering you or your game experience, so simply avoid them. Let people level the way they want, even if it is in a way that is faster than the developers would consider "normal". They are not exploiting either, they are simply farming.
Although some of them are botters, it doesn't matter as it is not your job to police the game...that is ArenaNet's.
