According to FAQ:https://www.guildwars2.com/en/services/faq/
"When you log in to Guild Wars 2 and create a character, you will be able to obtain your digital items via the in-game mail system. The Collector's Edition digital items are available after the release of Guild Wars 2."
It looks to me like characters created during the 3 day headstart will not be able to access digital items. Only characters created after you enter your activation code found within the physical box, not availible until the 28th.
Will my headstart characters be able to gain the items post launch or will I have to re-roll, thus losing the coolness of having a headstart toon?
