It seems the GW2 community is never satisified, constantly wanting something like a baby. i.e They implement facial change and cosmetic change and people say "its too late now, i wanted this at launch, when they finally release it, and were barely 4 months in!!!!".. seriously if you dont see the problem by now, you ppl are a lost cause. peace

At least Chris openly admitted that releasing Ascended in only one part of the game was a mistake, and one that he hopes they don't make again. Here's the exact quote ...
