New forums for the official Guild Wars 2 API have been made public today. Within them, Cliff Spradlin has posted documentation on the API for those looking to create new tools and/or sites. Currently available are calls to fetch Dynamic Event information, WvW statuses, and item and recipe details.

Is there a hotkey or workaround for this besides left-clicking empty terrain? There are some skills that I'd like to quickly target, then clear, and clicking just won't work fast enough in my case for this.

Since members and developers at ArenaNet have renewed their policy of tolerating third-party software that doesn't provide an advantage, and TexMod was mentioned specifically by Gaile Gray, where would be an appropriate place on the forum to discuss and share texture mods? Tyrian Assembly? Community Index? Downloads subforum? Galleries? Nowhere at all (forbidden)?

As far as I know, TexMod doesn't work anymore with GW2, but uMod does. I've not tested either, as I was awaiting developer response prior to risking my account for frivolities.

I don't see any current graphics cards with this output option. I'm having trouble finding information on hardware and driver support for this in current graphics cards online. I have a card from 2009 that has this with an adapter, but I wasn't able to find any current generation cards.

I would like to know if anyone knows if the GW2 client does anything in the title, since the User Agreement says they can do all of it, and you must grant them permission to do so in order to play. See section 7(d): GW2 User Agreement


Now I understand some of that can just grant them privileges for benign uses, like scanning your system for compatibility, checking HDD for required space, ensuring network traffic between client and server is legitimate, and whatnot. But they also require you to consent to active monitoring of other processes, your RAM, CPU, and HDD/other storage devices.

I am not okay with this; that is spyware, and I want no part of that. I do not care if it is for anti-cheat purposes or whatever. If this exists, I will have to reconsider my decision to play this game, and since I must agree to these terms in order to play, I would like to know if there is active monitoring beforehand.

I am posting here to (hopefully) gather informed answers rather than ... noise. If this is instead a question best asked of support, I'd like to know that, too.
