Not just more difficult, but more rewarding at higher level of gameplay. Is not easy to win as a warrior (at least not against good players), sometimes you just can't win, because what you do isn't that different of what a mob can do.
Thieves are on a completly different level, why bad thieves win against bad <insert class>? because even if it is a bad thief, it acts like something completly different from what you see on PvE, while other classes act similar, so even if you are a terrible pvp player, you got some sort of understanding on the game mechanics of other classes, thanks to PvE.
It's the same story as the mesmer, once you understand their gameplay, it isn't that OP. The stealth on a thief only serves for escaping then, because even if you can't see him, you know where he "should" be for the next move. But don't expect to be a glass cannon and survive a thief, their job in the meta is to be your counter, otherwise, being glass cannon in PvP would be mandatory. If you're not glass cannon, then you can survive the first attempt of a thief, and then, you know there is one, so you can play with that.

Even small groups can easily do guild bounties/treks & rushes. My advice would be to diligently do them every week even if it means joining a guild just for access to them (you don't always have to rerisent said guild).
You can easily get 1 trinket every 2-3 weeks doing this without all the money spent on ectos.
As for what I spend em on, I'm on nearly every day at least for a couple minutes & usually get my monthly done easy enough so thats about 40 laurals a month. I also have 5 lvl 80s at this point so give it around 5 months & each should have an amulet, & one trinket + rings since I run lvl 30 + fractals.

I would love to see armors that are close to those of human history, like lacquered samurai armor or something like a Greek hoplite or Roman legionary. Even the stereotypical uniforms of the English Civil War or Thirty Years War look pretty interesting for medium armors:

Which one would you recommend, running full berserker or going with the 3 knight pieces on the armor? I'm also worried about aggro. Higher armor gives me more aggro, something I wouldn't want all the time. But don't think it would be that much to make a difference I hope.
Recommend for what? PvE, SPvP or WvW? For PvE i recommend having both. My warrior have full berserker and i always keep a helmet, leggings and chest in my inventory. What to choose is up to you. On advice, you need to know your character and the encounter if you don't want to die repetitively in full zerker and be a burden for your team. If you don't feel comfortable with it in the moment you should consider to get zerker trinket and knight gear. As you get more and more comfortable with your gameplay, you can replace gradually your knight gear for zerker.

I'd recommend the three knights pieces, but once again that's what I run for extra survivability and it's a personal preference.
Don't worry about your aggro, toughness is only one factor and it's unlikely to make that much of a difference, as you're trading some dps for toughness, and lowering your dps will reduce your aggro. A full set of toughness gear maybe a problem, but three pieces should be fine.
Aggro list from the wiki (which may or may not be accurate).
The aggro table of a hostile NPC changes dynamically depending on a number of factors, in order of importance:
- closest target to them
- who is dealing damage
- top damage dealers
- who is using a shield / has more toughness and overall armor
- others

I run full out zerkers everything, but that is my preference and playstyle.

SIO is a stunbreaker. Every profession needs a stunbreaker on their bar. A short CD one at that - much better than my Mesmer's 36s CD on hers.
There aren't many times where you will want to remove 2 "deadly" conditions. If you're affected by multiple conditions, it's usually a heavy bleed & a weak, short poison more often than not.

Only good for PvE. In WvW not so much. In a zerg you won't be able to reach your target before dying. In SPvP you can't have that setup since only amulet give you stats on your gear, but if you thing about a Berserker Amulet with Knight Jewel, you gonna have the same problem of dying before killing people because they gonna keep their distance, kite you, or cc you.
But, in SPvP if you play with someone that you know and work together he can take care of CC your target so you can burst him down quickly, making a berserker setup not so bad for a warrior. I never tried it, but i been on the other end of that setup and it hurt

You could however, upgrade one of the rings to "Ring of Red Death (Infused)" and thus be able to equip both.

Try "promote skill target" and/or "autotargeting" in the options screen, not sure if it works as you indicate you've actually selected a target instead of auto targeted using a skill and pointing the camera, but it's worth a try. Alternatively you can bind "target previous enemy" to a key or button.

Knights, PVT or Beserkers work in WvW - the key is knowing your build, the mechanics of your build playstyle, and some sense. Knight's will suffice - once you grow more comfortable with your build and its play mechanics, then you can opt to go all zerkers for more damage/dps.
