In Topic: New NCSoft Earning report is out...

The Living Story bullshit likely attributes to the decline in sales. What's the incentive to new players to jump into content in which they have not played the prelogues to?

In Topic: Does GW2 need damage meters?

30 October 2013 - 02:22 PM

Damage metres were pretty much a necessity in World of Warcraft because the only way to contribute to a fight is to deal as much damage as you can. In Guild Wars 2 there are many more ways of contributing to a fight or event than just standing still and pumping out your rotation with perfectly ordinated keystrokes. All professions have their own ways of doing things also. Fights aren't always a race more so than they are a fight for survival. If they were ever going to add damage metres I, I would prefer it be extremely limited,. Such as in you can only see your own statistics. Perhaps there could be a Left4Dead style analysis sheet at the end of a dungeon run that shows who achieved the greatest number of dodges, last hits, etc, just for the sake of fun.

I don't understand how dying your armour pink signifies ''Breast Cancer Awareness''. Most players will think you just have bad taste.

In Topic: Which of the available weapons should be added to a profession?

Thief rifle. It's gimmick could be that their shots are very long range but lock you in place whilst activating them or some shit.

Rangers should be allowed to use staves to furfil that Druidistic niche that is currently lacking from the game. It would fit their artistic and lore design nicely, aswell as allowing them to contribute to dungeon groups.

In Topic: GW2 caters more to the hardcore players than GW1 did

Guild Wars' elite content was harder than Guild Wars 2's ''elite'' content.
