does Quick Breathing convert condition to boon for allies?

does the trait Quick Breathing convert allies' condition to boon as well, or does it just work only on yourself?

halloween 2013, battle of the clock tower

06 November 2012 - 04:54 AM

read a topic in the official forum about the death to the clock tower, an event for next year's halloween where we destroy that damn thing.  that inspire this idea of mine.

https://forum-en.gui...t-a-hate-thread

since some people love it and some people hate it, how about we just go at it?  we take sides base on a choice, to defend it or attack it.  and we do battle.  simple enough.  and at the end of halloween, we either see the clock tower still standing or destroyed.

anyone else feels that norns are too human in gw2?

17 October 2012 - 05:02 AM

in gw1, they feel genuinely a different race with an identity.  in gw2, they just feel like giant human who happens to love drinking and hunting.

in gw1, they have their own way of doing things.  the whole story about raising an army to fight the destroyers in EotN is a good example.  oh, destroyer going to destroy tyria?  don't care.  oh, they make a great hunt?  ok, i'm in.  need an army?  oh, we norns don't do armies.  and it's not that they don't need am army.  that's not even the point.  it's that the goal is to hunt, not to defeat the destroyers to save the world.  even if you replace the norns avatar with human avatars or dwarves avatar, you can still tell they are norns from what they say.  the back and forth between ogden and jora is great.  jora keep telling ogden, but ogden simply doesn't understand the norn's way because they are so different.

in gw2, they are just human playing to a drunk and hunter gimmick.  they talk a lot about hunting.  they talk a lot about drinking.  but they don't feel like norns, just regular people who happens to love hunting and drinking.  they are too relatable.  they got family to raise.  they stay home to take care of the kids.  they rather be traders instead of hunters.  they got marital problems.  and the willingness to form an army and fight together is just so natural, almost as if not doing so is idiotic.  if ogden deals with gw2 norns in EotN, the norns would be like, "ok, lets do this."  and that will be the end of that path in the story.  they don't function on norn's value.  they function on human logic.  norns are too human here.

2 questions (empower allies and regen)

12 October 2012 - 06:00 AM

1) does Empower Allies stack with other warrior's?  i.e. two warriors with empower allies, does a 3rd character within range get +140 power?

2) the regen given by Inspiring Battle Standard, does it use my healing (my banner) or the affected character's healing?  same case for other profession that provide regen to others?

Thanks.
