Lol worst elite goes for engineer? Do you know how many classes would kill for your AOE stun, condition, immobilize and heal turrets with the press of a button? Please take our better elite which is the equivalent of any other class' boon and can be removed by boon ripping and give us yours.

Wow..engy's got the worst elite..just..wow..

yes we got worst elites, 1 decent elite which is supply drop, elixir x and mortar are crap

As a D2 player who used a huge amount of MF too, I can say with certainty that it did help a bit. Out of maybe... 15 Mephisto runs, I'd get a unique, and often a crappy one. Which showed me what a crappy stat it was.. But felt forced to use anyway.

MF in GW2 is here to stay, but I agree it needs a radical change on how it works. To those who say that MF gear also have two offensive stats are blinded t trying to defend a selfish statistic.

Adding toughness, vitality, or hell even healing power contributes to the party, if only to keep you alive, and thus keep active party members to 5, not 4 because the 5th got taken out, because he lacked either survival, or those extra % of damage to kill a mob.

Trying to defend that MF isn't selfish is denying you're a parasite, leeching on other people's efforts. I'm not saying your presence isn't useful, but your a bigger liability than anyone else in the team.

That depends how much MF someone uses. For example i have special build on engie to give back some stats lost from MF and i haven't had a single problem yet (though i dont do high lvl fotm because it's not my thing in the long run, but did explorables too).

For example i have 60% from runes, 40% from food and eventually 25 stacks of luck sigil. That's it. Armor is vit/to/pwr and jewelery is pwr/pre/crdmg

One thing more for MF i consider is MF utility infusion since it gives 20% with dps amulet

Problem starts when someone focuses on pure MF gear like rings, amulets, upgrades and armor etc

Still, even someone with lots of MF can be useful if he focuses on support, like boons, cleanses, reviving. He doesn't have to be DPS and still be very useful.

Personally i don't care if someone plays with mf or not if we are doing OK. If we are doing bad i don't care either whether it's fault of MF or someone being bad, i just change grp.

Bottom line is that result is important, not means to it.

In Topic: Annoying Orr mobs - What's the point?

Orr isn't half as bad as it used to be before. Remember soloing all orr maps on my engie before any nerfs to it :> THAT! was annoying. Less WPs that were always up. more mobs and more annoying skills :>

Now it's ok.

It is stupid to sell 1c above vendor price. I have pointed it out to friends long time ago.

Thing is that many people don't really care enough or doesn't check the vendor price. There are some though that may want to do this simply to have an impact on the market ie lower the prices of goods across the board.

Just to describe how "interesting" each profession's stats are, even withing same armor category. Obviously you can see how some are pretty much favored

Gimme some of what you are smoking please.

Thieves 17000 hp naked? Bollocks. That itself is enough reason to throw this chart to thrash.

These numbers are from the official GW2 guidebook.

The picture was resized while uploading to the site.

Logging into the game > any "official" guidebook. These were printed before GW2 was in beta :P
