For freshmen 80/400 (like me) who're having hard time deciding what type of very first exotic armor & jewelry is the best "bang for a buck" i have created Google Docs Comparison Spreadsheet.
I doesn't give a clear answer but at least make it a bit clearer. Feel free to point out mistakes i request what you think is missing.
I'm seriously so excited for this game I'm going to scream. I have finally started to feel like GW2 is the first game to get the MMO right in a very long time for me. It pretty much has everything I'm looking for in an MMO. Anyone else frothing at the mouth imagining the adventures that you will have come the end of next month?
Last week we introduced you to the fourth race, the Asura. (Thanks to Khalija for the thread) Many people were very exciting by these little arrogant creatures, but also, a lot of people were disappointed to not see anything about the Sylvari. (except one stolen thing, but it's outdated now)
I'm pretty sure, that our article today will fix that. Today we can introduce you, the fifth and final race, the Sylvari.
During the past two BWE's and ST's, I found "out of map" glitches in every area (except the Mists cause I didn't go there). I'll list them so you can see.

KESSEX HILLS (PART 2)
I found an extremely minor one in Gendarran Fields that will naturally fix itself once they open up the portal into Valley Headland. There is another extremely minor one in Black Citadel which they already fixed. They also fixed the Great Collapse one so there was no need to make a video of it since there are tons of them already....and there was nothing in Hoelbrak.
Pretty neat stuff to find, but even more gratifying to see fixed when it comes time for release.
I'm in the same situation as you. I like Rangers, but they are reliant on pets. I like Mesmers, but they are reliant on illusions. I like healing/support, but Guardians are heavily armored and lack ranged options (and Engineers are very focused on area control). I just can't seem to find "my" profession. I guess I just have to keep experimenting - one BWE is definitely not enough.
I almost feel bad for people who have played healer/medic/priest for years, but don't have a similar option in GW2. That being said, I don't want the trinity back (I like being independent), but still...
While everyone had fun playing and exploring I sacrificed precious beta time recording timelapses in order to capture patterns you wouldn't see otherwise. All 12 27 can be found in this Playlist.
I hate to interrupt my creative past with this edit, but I posted more timelapses some posts downwards a few times. Please read the cool text, too. Alternatively, you can always skip to youtube and view them all in the above-mentioned Playlist.
Here are four of them embedded:
