Thanks Aero, here's Tzu's finished illustration. Her character is a Soundless Sylvari that's obsessed with Jormag's ice corruption. Wanted to make something more atmospheric than my usual action scenes.

Charlie Dayman Art Update! Woohoo!
Incredible stuff as always Charlie. Great rendition of Spike Spiegel, that piece really captures the feel of Cowboy Bebop (one of the greatest anime series ever!)
I like the mech designs. They combine a classic anime and epic space opera look.
Eomer has a Mongol horseman is brilliant (and makes a bit more sense than cavalry vikings lol). Classic fantasy can be as bad as old James Bond films when it comes to reflecting the less than PC attitudes of their times.
A question about the commissions, is that the price for each figure if we ask for a commission with more than one (if that can be done)?
The theme of the show is to pick an anime that influenced you - pretty straightforward. I'm not really a huge anime fan, but I think Cowboy Bebop is a work of art. The characters, story/setting, art direction are all pretty amazing. Also, the use of funky upbeat jazz against the space bounty-hunter theme was something really new to me when I was young. That had a big impact on me and probably one reason why I like to attach music to my artwork.
I was on a bit of a mech craze because of Pacific Rim. I feel like doing a big piece that's related to the film/genre.
Yeah, the Mongol influenced Eomer seemed pretty fitting. What's nice is that so many people are open and supportive of what I'm doing. Though hilariously, I did get one very angry white guy saying my work was "depraved" and that POC should stay in our own stories. While I'm all for artists who are POC to make original stories and worlds, we should still be allowed into other well established fictional works as well. Apparently dragons, elves, magic, and demons that shoot fire out of their butts is okay. But once a brown person shows up in their make-believe world, we've gone too far.
As far as pricing goes, it wouldn't be $45 per person. I should probably make that a bit clearer in the guidelines. If it were two people, I'd say it'd be around $60. Doc, if you're interested, you can just pm me and we can figure something out.
