rzWizard(Razer) is crashing my PC

20 June 2015 - 02:43 PM

Yeah, really. At least that's what my event log says.

My problem:
  • Got a GTX 780, installed/plugged it in, all that stuff.

  • PC started crashing.

  • Confused, I uninstall and reinstall my NVIDIA drivers.

  • Keeps crashing.

  • I go into the event log to find out why, says it's rzwizard. Something my Razer Naga needs for it's macros to function.

  • Uinstalled it, PC stops crashing. Reinstalled it, PC started crashing again so it's clear it causes some kind of issue. But why now? Why all of the sudden?
The easy way out is simple, just to uninstall the program and use the mouse on its most basic. But that kind of ruins why I got it in the first place. I have specific macros for specific games, and I'd rather figure it out so I can get the best of both.

I uninstalled razer drivers when I wrote the prevous. Game runs fine, however, I think this might be related to GW2? Basically my computer crashes a few seconds after I close GW2. Screen goes black and my PC is unresponsive. Occasionally when this crash happens my PC's fans go crazy. I also got a lot of Kernel-PnP warnings but I don't know if they are related or not, as I don't know much about these things.

PC Specs:
Windows 8.1
GTX 780
Intel i5 2500K
Gigabyte Z68-UD4 Motherboard
Mushkin 250GB SSD

Drivers stopped working

25 February 2015 - 01:19 PM

I've been having this issue ever since I installed Windows 8.1.

1. installed windows.
2. installed NVidia drivers.
3. noticed my drivers were crashing 2-5 times a day.
4. uninstalled the basic drivers that Windows 8.1 come with.
5. uninstalled NVidia drivers and restarted.
6. installed the NVidia drivers again.

Still have the problem, but a little less than before. Now it's down to about 1-3 a day.

Let me know anything you need to know, thank you!

When is the reduced transfer, if at all?

07 December 2014 - 06:23 PM

I'm wondering, when is the reduced transfer that happened during some WvW stuff I couldn't care less about? (Basically, the bad servers where free transfer or greatly reduced)

I am wanting to transfer back to EU servers but don't want to waste ridiculous amount of cash doing so. I'm on US server and I never get to do any fractals etc as I'm assuming they all in bed the whole time I'm logged in. Before you ask, I transfered due to a friend begging me. I regret it.

Big dye giveaway

23 April 2014 - 04:19 PM

Hey people!

I'm holding a dye give away until the 28th in a sort of celebration for the dye change to account bound. So I'm excited to be able to give a new or old player a bunch of dyes to expand their collection! I just decided to advertise it outside of tumblr. Please do join if you'd want to have the chance to win :)

NB: Because tumblr rules you have to participate trough a google form, I can't count your participation otherwise as you are not allowed to hold giveaways for likes, reblogs or followers, even if that is not your goal.

Original post: http://worldoftyria....00-unidentified

Being given back over 500 unidentified dyes I decided to open them all(because I’m a gambler with problems). I was left with TONS of dyes I can give away! So if you would like to expand YOUR dye collection, please feel free join in this giveaway!
  • First place: 20 Gold + 29 Green + 150 blue of choice or be given a bundle.
  • Second place: 10 Gold + 20 Green + 55 blue of choice or be given a bundle.
  • Third place: 5 Gold + 15 Green + 25 blue of choice or be given a bundle.
  • Fourth place: 5 Gold + 10 Green + 15 blue of choice or be given a bundle.
How and Answers:
  • All you need to do to participate is to leave your in game ID and tumblr URL in this form so I can contact you if you’ve won! (THIS GIVE AWAY ENDED ON THE 28TH OF APRIL 2014)
  • Because there’s so many dyes being given away the reward will be given over a course of a week(but most likely within a few days), this is because of my schedule and because I’ve to send multiple emails!
  • How you’ll be able to pick dyes: Every winner will be able to pick gold, green and blue dyes. However, you can only pick one of Black,Celestial or White, each of the winners will receive either one of these!
  • If you have won and you are going to pick blue dyes, please look herefor the dyes available. I’ve multiple of some of them so tell me the ones you want, and I will let you know if I have it available and if I don’t you can request another one. Don’t worry, I’ve more than 280 blue dyes, but if someone has picked one I’ve only 1 of, please make sure you’ve an alternative you’d want.
  • You don’t have to like, reblog or follow me! I appreciate it if you do so more people can join in(and I can see the interest for giveaways), but this is not mandatory and wont increase your chances, so don’t worry about that!
  • I will pick a winner on the 28th of April!
Please check back once a while, as I might update the How and Answers part as I go along! :)

Good luck!

Shadowplay doesn't work with GW or GW2

29 March 2014 - 10:54 PM

Basically what it says. I can't make it work, anyone else have the same problem? Works with any other game though.
