Hoelbrak is obvious as a norwegian, brak comes from the word "bråk" which means loud noise ;) Hoel may mean Høl, a dirty place, or just like a small place to hang out (not sure on this)
Rata Sum can also be guessed true the word Sum in mathematics or calculations in general.

The Rata may also have a meaning unknown to me, you can find all these hidden uses of names of items, peoples and places true both GW1 and GW2, I love it!
